I spent several weeks over the summer producing landscape painting panels with artist Scott Pohlschmidt at Lavender Hill Colours. Scott has been researching materials for many years and he came up with the combination of Claessens Linen #15, archival glue and Dutch marine plywood. It took us a few days to get the process down, but now we're mass producing them. There is is nothing better to landscape paint on!
Earlier this year I was commissioned to create steel lampshades for artificial fire lamps. It's great to see them finished! See more at www.luxa.co.uk
Getting a hang on transferring the method of direct painting from oils to the computer. I might come back to this one and make the lights really pop with a few impastos.
I'll be exhibiting for both weekends and will be present on the 6th and 13th giving painting demonstrations.
